The company they wanted to work for

Greg and Nick talked about starting a business together for a while before deciding to make it happen. In 2026, they launched American Air Heating and Cooling with a simple goal: build an HVAC company they'd both be proud to work for, and one they'd trust in their own homes.

Together they bring over 25 years of combined HVAC experience, and both are actively involved in the day-to-day work, from evaluating homes and discussing options to installations, maintenance, and repairs.

How We Work

We believe the right HVAC solution starts with understanding your home, not selling you equipment.

Every home is different, and what works for one homeowner may not work for another. That's why, before recommending a system, we take the time to:

  1. Listen to your concerns

  2. Evaluate your home's layout

  3. Assess existing equipment and ductwork

  4. Perform proper heating and cooling load calculations

Whether you're replacing an aging furnace, installing a ductless mini split, upgrading to a heat pump, or maintaining your existing system, our goal is simple: provide honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and solutions that make sense for your home and your budget.

As a locally owned company serving Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Greene, and Saratoga Counties, we're proud to build our business on relationships, trust, and work that speaks for itself.
